1. Information We Collect

ReferYes collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, professional history, resume files, and profile details. When candidates are referred by sourcers, we collect candidate contact information with the sourcer's confirmation that the candidate is aware of the referral.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the referral marketplace: matching candidates with open positions, facilitating communication between sourcers and hiring managers, processing credit transactions and payouts, and sending transactional notifications about your account and referrals.

3. Candidate Consent

Candidate contact details submitted in referrals remain hidden from recruiters until the candidate explicitly consents to be connected. Candidates are notified by email when an employer expresses interest and may accept or decline the connection request. Declining also allows immediate deletion of the candidate profile.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Profile and referral data is only shared within the platform between the parties involved in a referral (sourcer, hiring manager, candidate) according to the consent and visibility rules described above.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. All consent and deletion events are recorded in an audit log for compliance. Data is stored securely and access is restricted by role-based permissions.

Your Privacy Choices

Opt Out of Emails

You can stop receiving non-essential emails from ReferYes at any time. Send us an opt-out request and we will remove you from all notification emails within 10 business days. Essential account and security emails may still be sent.

Delete Your Information

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information from ReferYes (GDPR / CCPA). Upon a verified request, we will permanently delete your profile, contact details, and resume files within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Referred candidates: if you received a connection request email, you can decline and delete your profile directly from the consent link in that email — no account or separate request needed.
