The role

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with deep networking expertise to join the Voyager team in the Mirantis Office of the CTO. You will own the network solutioning of k0rdent AI, our platform for building and operating GPU clouds and AI factories, from metal to model.

What you'll do

  • Design and publish network reference architectures for k0rdent AI.
  • Define compute fabrics on InfiniBand and RoCEv2 Ethernet.
  • Define front-end, storage and management networks.
  • Specify multi-tenant isolation across the stack.
  • Define how Linux hosts expose NICs, DPUs and SuperNICs to workloads.
  • Design Kubernetes and KubeVirt networking for AI workloads.
  • Track and evaluate emerging AI networking technologies.
  • Build and run proofs of concept with customers and partners.

Qualifications

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent.
  • 8+ years in network engineering or architecture.
  • 3+ years in data center, HPC or cloud infrastructure networking.
  • Customer-facing experience as a solutions architect, pre-sales engineer or consultant.
  • Proficiency in data center design, InfiniBand, RoCEv2, BGP and Linux networking.
  • Experience with Kubernetes networking and virtualization.
  • Programming/scripting skills in Python or Go.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA networking technologies.
  • Experience with GPU cloud, neocloud or HPC operators.
  • Experience with bare-metal provisioning and lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of network automation and SDN controllers.
  • Familiarity with Software-Defined Storage networking.
  • Experience with Mirantis products.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Participation in standards bodies.
